A recent Survey has shown that dealers are loosing labour and unit sales of these engines to aftermarket diesel service repair shops. As part of our extensive all-make diesel coverage, we remanufacture the Cummins Long Block, Short block, cylinder head, and crankshaft assemblies
Short Block Assemblies Inlcude:
A thermo cleaned, magnetically inspected and professionally machined block casting.
New pistons, new rings, new cam bearings, new core plugs, new con-rod and main journal crankshaft bearings, new/inspected timing gears, new/remanufactured oil pump, resized con-rods, reground camshaft,and a precision reground crankshaft.
Long Block Assemblies Include:
A complete short block assembly, cylinder head assembly, plus new/reman push-rods,rocker arms, valve lifters, new head bolts, and a completer gasket set.
Cylinder Head Assemblies Include:
A NEW or thermo cleaned, magnetically inspected, vacuum tested, professionally machined casting, using the "Serdi 3.0 or 100" guide/valve seat machine, and trued head surface on the "Rottler" milling machine, new/reman valves,springs and keepers, and new valve seals
The finished engine is then run on our "Sim" spin tester to check dynamic resistance of the rotating assembly, and to record oil pressure.
Warranty:
Long block diesel engines are warranted for parts and labour for 12 months, unlimited kms. Repairs or replacement is covered at the O.E.M factory time allowance
